Licensing
Every image in the Image-Etc library carries a model or property release and can be licensed under one of three terms below. Rates for individual images live on the services page.
- Websites, social media, internal decks
- Up to 500,000 impressions
- Non-exclusive — others may license the same image
- No resale or redistribution of the raw file
- Everything in Standard
- Print, packaging, out-of-home & broadcast
- Unlimited impressions
- Use inside a product for resale (templates, merchandise)
- Image is retired from the public library
- Full commercial rights transferred to you
- Optional private commission for new, unpublished work
How usage works.
Every person or private property visible in a licensed image is covered by a signed release on file. Releases are available on request for legal review.
News, commentary and educational use of unreleased images is permitted without a purchased license, with credit to Image-Etc.
Licensed images may not be used to train machine-learning models, resold as stock elsewhere, or used in defamatory or misleading contexts.

Can I upgrade a Standard license later?
Yes — pay the difference to Extended at any time; send us the original order reference.
Do you offer subscription or volume pricing?
For 10 or more images per month, request a quote through the contact page — we set a flat monthly rate.
What file formats are delivered?
High-resolution TIFF and JPEG by default; layered PSD available on request for an added fee.
